At Sunrise, our Area Sales Manager is responsible for the overall development, execution and leadership of an overarching Sales and Marketing strategy that supports Sunrise’s mission of championing quality of life for all seniors and is aligned with corporate business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

 
Responsibilities:
- Ensures communities are consistently executing standards that support Sunrise’s mission and increase our ability to achieve our occupancy and revenue goals
- Obtains and applies knowledge of all Sunrise products/services including their individual features and the benefits they bring to the residents
- Understands Sunrise sales process in order to ensure implementation and as a function of strategic marketing
- Collaborates with field marketing managers to develop and implement community/cluster based strategies which generate new leads and/or advance existing leads
- Supports communities in developing and executing a winning sales and marketing strategy
- Provides and demonstrates sales leadership with the communities
 



Qualifications:
- College Degree preferred
- Five (5) years sales management experience (or related experience with Sunrise Senior Living); healthcare industry background preferred
- Supervisory and management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management daily operations supervision, discipline and counseling
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to link information to action and results
- Able to travel in geographic area
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their skills, roles and interests
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate group presentations
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
